Marxoxo unveils new single "So Misunderstood," announces performances in San Francisco and Los Angeles

San Francisco hyperpop artist Marxoxo has released their new single “So Misunderstood.”

The track, which can be heard below, tackles the singer’s experiences of being trans and how men perceive them. When it comes to the new song, Marxoxo said:

“Not everyone is going to like you, especially when you’re as cute and deadly as me, but everyone knows what it’s like to be judged. I simply look at them back in the face, and ask... why? People tend to mind their business when they think you’re a threat, like when you’re carrying a sexy spiked bat.”

“So Misunderstood,” which was co-produced by jxlyyy x skoolio, is out on digital services right now.

Next month, the artist will bring their Club XOXO show to San Francisco and Los Angeles. On November 26, the artist will perform at San Francisco’s Oakland Secret while the Los Angeles performance will take place at the Lash Social on November 28. Sabby Sousa, Nitrah Neon, and K!k! will join them for these shows.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
