Grammy-winning artist Maren Morris is returning to a familiar spot for an intimate show in Chicago.

Announced today, the artist will perform at Joe’s On Weed Street on October 5. The venue is where Morris made their Chicago debut years ago. This will be Morris’ first show in Chicago since headlining the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island last year.

Members of Maren’s fan club The Lunatics can sign up for pre-sale tickets right now here until tomorrow (Thursday, September 21) at 11:59pm CST. On Friday (September 22), a code will be sent out to purchase tickets. $5 from every ticket sold will go towards GLAAD.

Last week, Morris unveiled their new EP titled The Bridge, which was co-produced by Greg Kurstin and Jack Antonoff. The artist’s last studio album was last year’s Humble Quest.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
