Manga series Dog Signal to gain anime adaptation in Fall 2023

Saya Miyauchi’s manga series Dog Signal will be getting the anime treatment.
Announced yesterday, the anime adaptation will arrive this fall. There’s no word on cast or crew for the show, but it will air on NHK Educational TV in Japan.
Debuting in 2018 on manga website Comic Bridge, Dog Signal has been collected into seven tankōbon volumes. Volume eight will arrive on January 24.
A synopsis for the manga reads:
A dog trainer is a job that connects dogs and people. Misuke Samura, an indecisive young man, meets Shinichiro Niwa, a Shingyo dog trainer, while walking a dog imposed on him by his ex-girlfriend. That chance encounter will change Misuke's life greatly! The growth story of a new dog trainer!
