Los Angeles R&B artist GoGo Morrow has dropped their debut single “In The Way” today.

The song was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, who is best known for their work with Janet Jackson, JoJo, and Ariana Grande. An accompanying music video for the tune was directed by the late Sebastian Sdaigui, who was best known for their visuals for Princess Nokia, 2 Chainz, and Kehlani.

GoGo Morrow said this about the new single:

“I’m so excited to introduce my debut single to the world. Writing this song helped me heal and I hope it does the same for anyone going through a similar situation.”

Prior to “In The Way,” Morrow hit the stages at Made in America Festival and The Roots Picnic, and they honed their craft while performing alongside acts such as Kanye West onThe Late Late Show with James Corden and Lady Gaga on HBO’s Emmy-winning Monster Ball Tour concert special.

“In The Way” is out on digital services right now via Harmony Samuels-owned B.O.E. Records and Kenya Barris-owned Khalabo Music.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
