Los Angeles goth/industrial band The God Bombs release new single "Bleed"
Los Angeles goth/industrial band The God Bombs have unveiled their new single “Bleed.”
The new song comes with a music video directed by Jason Kaplan. The band said this about the song’s accompanying music video, which can be seen below:
'"BLEED" is a horror film about mental illness. It's about feeling lost in life, with the voice in your head telling you you're nothing. We can all relate to having that voice. The voice in this case is represented by a creepy haunted porcelain doll which beckons the protagonist to a house of horrors. There, he faces the monsters of his mind. The idea for the film came from director/cinematographer/editor Jason Kaplan, singer Justin Symbol, and bassist West Rozen, who provided locations. This film is the latest in a series of collaborations between The God Bombs and Jason Kaplan. In the end, the main character is victorious over the demons of his mind and the doll is left in a pool of blood. The line "Now you bleed" is directed at the doll. Therefore, "BLEED" is ultimately about conquering one's fears to reach one's full potential. We hope to eventually expand this music video into a short horror film."
“Bleed” is available on digital services right now.
