Los Angeles ambient jazz act OHMA (Mia Garcia and Hailey Niswanger) have announced their debut album.
Revealed yesterday, Between The Things will be released on September 9 via Colorfield Records. The first single from the record titled "In Essence" can be heard below. The act said this about the celestial single:
““In Essence” serves as a calling to the return of innocence. Beginning with emulated sounds of children running, the bass begins the melody of dance as chordal guitar begins to converse. Waves of flowing rhythms and wooden flutes urge us to access this child-like state that resides in all. It is a resurgence of the foundational aspect of human existence and an echo in the wake of presence.”
Pre-orders for Between The Things can be made here. “In Essence” is available on digital services right now.
