New Jersey deathcore group Lorna Shore have unveiled another track from their forthcoming album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me today.
The song “Unbreakable” arrives with a music video directed by Eric Richter, who previously worked on music videos for Knocked Loose, Better Lovers, and Vein.FM. The visual can be seen here. The new song coincides with the release of new summer merch from the band, which can be seen here.
Vocalist Will Ramos said this about the song:
"Writing this one was definitely one of the trickiest songs ever, for me. We wanted to write a song that would sound and feel absolutely huge. I wanted something that made people feel good when listening or singing it; essentially a song that you can hear on your worst day, and somehow feel like that day was a breeze.
This was one of the first songs I got to work on, and it ended up being the last one I finished. We are so used to putting a lot of notes together to make our songs sound right. The issue was that this song was one where everyone had to pull-back a bit and look at everything in the grander scheme; we didn’t want to throw a million notes on the board, we wanted only the ones that felt… right. This song quickly became anthemic for us, and one of our favorites by the time the process was over.
Unbreakable is a very triumphant, all-inclusive song written to bring people together for a beautiful moment where they can realize that no matter what this world throws at us- it will never break us down. We and our bonds are unbreakable. "
I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me will be released on September 12 via Century Media Records. Pre-orders for the album can be made here. This will be the follow-up to Lorna Shore’s 2022 studio album Pain Remains, which we listed as one of the best albums of 2022.
