Liu Kang, Jax, and Mileena find actors in forthcoming Mortal Kombat movie
The upcoming Mortal Kombat movie has finally filled out some major roles.
Announced yesterday, Ludi Lin, who is best known for his work in the 2017 Power Rangers reboot, will portray Liu Kang. Mechad Brooks, who plays James Olsen in Supergirl, will play Jackson “Jax” Bridges. Newcomer Sisi Stringer will take the role of Mileena. Tadanobu Asano, who portrayed Hogun in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is in talks to play Raiden.
Joe Taslim, who appeared in The Raid and Fast & Furious 6, was recently confirmed to play Sub-Zero.
The Mortal Kombat movie is slated to be released on March 5, 2021. Simon McQuoid will direct while James Wan and Todd Garner will co-produce. The screenplay is written by Greg Russo. Fans can expect this film to showcase some memorable Fatalities.
