Limited tickets for The Game Awards going on sale in November
The Game Awards will allow the general public to attend for the first time since 2019.
Revealed today, tickets for the award ceremony will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, November 1 at 9 a.m. PST. Last year’s installment of The Game Awards only allowed invited guests into the venue.
The Game Awards will take place on Thursday, December 8 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Last year’s ceremony delivered a record-setting 85 million global livestreams. “We are grateful we could return to an in-person ceremony in 2021 and continue to build on our success with significant international growth in 2021,” said Geoff Keighley, producer, The Game Awards about the increase in viewership.
At last year’s event, It Takes Two walked away with the awards for Game of the Year, Best Family Game, and Best Multiplayer Game. The entire ceremony can be seen below.
