Swedish death metal group LIK will unveil their fourth studio album next month.

Revealed today, Necro will be released on April 18 via Metal Blade Records. Producer Lawrence Mackrory, who has worked with LIK since their 2015 debut album Mass Funeral Evocation, reunited with the band for this release. The album will feature guest appearances from Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath), Linnea Landstedt (Tyranex/Ice Age), and Lawrence Mackrory (F.K.Ü.) The first single from the record titled “War Praise” comes with a music video, which can be seen here.

Vocalist Tomas Åkvik said this about the song:

“We had to write this track before we could even start working on the new album. A LIK track that felt just like LIK but with enough new stuff to make it interesting for us. Sadly enough the world is still plagued by wars so we had to write about the horrors of it.”

Pre-orders for Necro can be made here. LIK will have a handful of festival appearances throughout Europe following Necro’s release. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
