Lamb of God have delivered some new music before their appearance at Aftershock Festival today.

The track “Sepsis” is the band’s first piece of music since their 2022 studio album Omens. An official music video for the track, which can be seen here, was directed by Gianfranco Svagelj (Steve Lacy, Pink Pantheress). Guitarist Mark Morton said this about the song:

“’Sepsis’ is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming Burn the Priest. Bands like Breadwinner, Sliang Laos, and Ladyfinger—though they never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. The song references that stuff in a way that’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together.”

Lamb of God will close out their 2025 touring with appearances at Aftershock Festival, AMMA Championship Fest, and Headbangers Boat. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
