L.A. Comic Con 2022 takes over the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend
The 2022 installment of L.A. Comic Con will bring pop culture excitement to the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend.
The guest list for the three-day convention features some major names ready to meet fans, including The Boys stars Karen Fukuhara, Laz Alonso, and Tomer Capone, Steve from Blues Clues, and Star Trek’s LeVar Burton. A full listing of guests can be seen here.
When it comes to panels, there’s a slew of events going down for everyone.
Gamers can sink their teeth into a ton of activities on the Gaming Stage, including a discussion about the forthcoming Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game! with Killer Klowns creators the Chiodo Brothers and a special panel with Mega64.
Anime fans are in for a treat with a Q&A session with Dragon Ball Z voice talent Sean Schemmel, Sonny Strait and Daman Mills and a special anime gameshow ITATYWOYCTSATATIWOMC (“Is The Answer That You Wrote On Your Card The Same As The Answer That I Wrote On My Card").
Comic book readers will have panels galore, including a discussion with Stranger Comics president Sebastian Jones about getting into the business and a discussion about black characters in comic books with the Black Futurism: Stories of Inclusion in Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Comics panel.

The 7th annual Cosplay National Championships will also take place at the convention. Cosplayers from all over will compete for $30,000 in cash and various other prizes. More information about the competition can be found here.
