Judas Priest to replace Ozzy Osbourne at Power Trip

24 hours after Ozzy Osbourne dropped off of Power Trip, their replacement has been revealed.
Today, it was announced that Judas Priest will take Osbourne’s spot on Saturday, October 7 alongside AC/DC. A statement from the band reads:
“POWER TRIPPERS ARE YOU READY FOR SOME JUDAS PRIEST STYLE HEAVY METAL! WE ARE EXCITED AND READY TO RAISE DOUBLE HORNS WAY UP HIGH TOGETHER. KEEPING THE METAL FAITH AT THIS BOSTIN ONE OF A KIND POWER TRIP WORLD EVENT!”
Judas Priest’s last studio album was 2018’s Firepower, which debuted at number five on the Billboard Top 200. The band are currently working on their 19th studio album. Last year, Judas Priest were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets for Power Trip, which takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from Friday, October 6 through Sunday, October 8, are on sale to the general public right now here.
