Folk artist Josephine Foster has dropped another track from their forthcoming album Godmother today.
The track “Nun Of The Above” comes with a lyric video directed by Nick Woods and edited by Zack Trolier, which is available below. Foster said this about the new song:
“A few years ago in Spain I found myself teaching music lessons to some nuns. Although being an outsider to their strict faith they accepted me in their community.
this song Nun of the Above was inspired by some of those experiences.”
Godmother, which arrives on January 28 via Fire Records, can be pre-ordered here. The record follows their 2020 studio album No Harm Done.
