Rising Canadian pop singer Jessia has unveiled their new single “First Call” today.
The track, which can be heard below, stems from Jessia’s forthcoming debut EP, which will be released on October 15 via Ryan Tedder’s Artist Driven Records in partnership with Republic Records. The artist said this about the new cut:
“’First Call’ is the oldest song on the forthcoming EP. I wrote it two years ago when I was hopeful that I would reconnect with someone that I lost. I thought he was my forever, but I eventually came to the realization that he was actually just there to teach me a lot of lessons.”
“First Call” is available on digital services right now. Next month, the artist will have festival appearances at Osheaga and Outside Lands Festival.
Jessia tour dates
October 1 - Osheaga - Montreal, QC
October 30 – Outside Lands Festival – San Francisco, CA
