Japanese idol group 22/7 to appear at Crunchyroll Expo 2019

Crunchyroll Expo have revealed that Japanese idol group 22/7 will be heading their way.

In a collaboration between Yasushi Akimoto, Aniplex, and Sony Music Records, 22/7 is a project where idols leap from the screen into the real world. 11 singers portray the characters in both animation form and in real life. Last month, an anime adaptation about the group was announced for a January 2020 debut. Arriving to the convention are Sally Amaki (Sakura Fujima), Ruri Umino (Jun Toda), and Kanae Shirosawa (Akane Maruyama). More information on 22/7 can be found here.
