Irish metal band Primordial announce new album 'How It Ends,' release new single
Irish metal band Primordial will reveal their 10th studio album next month.
Announced today, How It Ends will be released on September 29 via Metal Blade Records. A new single from the album titled “Victory Has 1000 Fathers, Defeat Is An Orphan” arrives with a music video directed by Killian Monson.
Vocalist A. A. Nemtheanga said this about the album’s title:
“The title is a question - is this how it ends? How it all goes down: culture, language, history, society - humanity - who knows? Regardless of who you are or were, you get one chance at all of this, and it’s asking is this the end of your town, state, nation? Myths, traditions, relationships, and I suppose it asks the question, who reacts, who rebels - how does it end now for them?”
Pre-orders for How It Ends can be made here. This follows the band’s 2018 studio album Exile Amongst the Ruins.
Primordial will be touring Europe alongside Paradise Lost, Omnium Gatherum, and Harakiri For The Sky this fall. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
