InvaderCON will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved animated series Invader Zim with an anniversary panel.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 30, which is the exact date the show debuted on Nickelodeon. Joining the panel are Richard Horvitz (the voice of “Zim”), Rikki Simons (the voice of “GIR”), Rodger Bumpass (the voice of “Professor Membrane”), Melissa Fahn (the voice of “Gaz”), Olivia d'Abo (the voice of “Tak”), artist/character designer Aaron Alexovich, writer Eric Trueheart, and composer Kevin Manthei.

The one-hour stream will happen on Wasabi Anime’s Twitch channel starting at 6:00 PM EST/3:00 PM PST. Fans can ask questions in the Twitch chat during the event.

Since its last episode, Invader Zim has appeared in comic books and video games. In 2019, Netflix released the animated film Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, which picks up where the animated series left off. Last year, an official art book titled The Art of Invader Zim and a script book titled The Medium-Sized Book of Zim Scripts: Vol. 1: Pigs 'n' Waffles: The stories, and the stories behind the stories of your favorite Invader were released.
