Impro Theatre and Company of Angels to join forces for Eastside Noir
Los Angeles-based theatre companies Impro Theatre and Company of Angels are joining forces for Eastside Noir.
The show is a Neo-noir adventure taking place in Boyle Heights, California. Nine talented actors will be portraying 27 different characters during this special event. Corinne Chooey (AwesomenessTV), Eric Carthen (Sonder, the Improvised Podcast), Joseph Limbaugh (Improv RPG), Julianna Ojeda (Company of Angels Associate Producer), Kari Coleman (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Leah Zhang (Southland), Leanna Dindal (Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure), Nakasha Norwood (Company of Angels Company Manager), and Robert Covarrubias (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno) will be part of the cast.
With 27 unique characters, the cast will need some assistance in crafting each character’s backstory. You can find more information about helping build the show below.
Eastside Noir will be livestreaming on May 1 via Impro Theatre’s Twitch channel at 11 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
