The 2022 installment of Long Beach Pride has revealed their headliners today.
Iggy Azalea and Natalia Jiménez will both headline the two-day festival, which takes place on July 9 and July 10 with a special free Teen Pride celebration on July 8. The event will also include performances from Sonora Tropicana, Selena tribute band Amoro Prohibido Band, Gia Banks (from the TV series Legendary) and hip-hop singer/actress YoYo. Long Beach Pride president Elsa Martinez said this about the event:
”This year’s Long Beach Pride will be our biggest, and will become the gold standard for Pride festivals across the globe. In order for us to tell our story in a way that honors the struggle, celebrates the community, and captivates new generations while showcasing our history, we will engage our audience in a variety of ways. In addition to the stages and musical entertainment, we will be creating activations and attractions that will entertain, educate, and inspire our audience.”
Tickets for Long Beach Pride are on sale to the general public right now. More information about Long Beach Pride can be found here.
Azalea’s last studio album was 2021’s The End of an Era. Jiménez’s last album was 2019’s México de Mi Corazón.
