Iconic shoegaze band Drop Nineteens announce new album 'Hard Light' and U.S. tour dates
Iconic shoegaze band Drop Nineteens will unveil their first album in 30 years this fall.
Announced today, Hard Light will be released on November 3 on Wharf Cat Records. Seen as a spiritual successor to their 1992 debut album Delaware, this is their first release since 1993’s National Coma. A new song from the album titled “Scapa Flow” can be heard below and is available on digital services right now. Pre-orders for Hard Light can be made here.
To support the forthcoming album, Drop Nineteens will embark on their first U.S. tour since their initial breakup in 1995. Horse Jumper of Love, Greg Mendez, and Winter will join the band on select dates. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (August 4) at 12 p.m. local time here. Pre-sale tickets will launch tomorrow (August 3) at 10 a.m. local time.
