Hyper RPG celebrates Halloween with Saturday's 12 hour TTRPG event Hyperween
Halloween is almost here, and the folks at Hyper RPG are looking to bring some tricks and treats with their monthly Hyperdrive tomorrow.
This month’s Hyperdrive has an earlier start than usual at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST. At 9:30 PST/12:30 EST, Matt Acevedo (Grim Dark Dawn) will GM the Hocus Pocus RPG. 12:30 p.m. PST/3:30 p.m. EST will have Emily Rose Jacobson (Rat Queens) GMing the Ghostbusters RPG.
At 3:30 p.m. PST/6:30 pm. EST, Mika Midgett (Kollok 1991) will GM the Monster of the Week: Slasher Film RPG. This particular RPG will feature various villains from some of your favorite horror movies. The marathon ends with Hyper RPG CCO Zac Eubank GMing a Hellraiser RPG, which will use the Ten Candles system. This final RPG starts at 6:30 p.m. PST/9:30 p.m. EST.
Like every Hyperdrive, tips made during the event will go towards keeping the studio running for another month. Each game will have different incentives for viewers to tip towards. Players for each game will be announced soon.
Hyper RPG will be kicking off the spooky festivities today with a special Halloween Revisited live stream. During this stream, Adam Hlavac (Hyper Heroes) will tour South Pasadena where the iconic 1978 film Halloween was shot.
