History, which features former Foxy Shazam drummer Daisy Caplan and Street Sects’ Leo Ashline, will unveil their self-titled debut album this fall.

Announced today, the album will be released on October 16 via The Flenser. The album was originally recorded back in 2011, but it was put on the shelf due to Ashline’s drug addiction. In a statement, Ashline said:

The writing and recording of this short record took place in 2011, immediately before I got sober and Street Sects began. It is a document of the most pivotal point in my life. Without these songs, without the process and the events that led to their creation, and (most importantly) without Daisy, there would be no Street Sects, and I can say with complete certainty that I would not be alive today.
