Helloween announce new album 'Giants & Monsters,' unveil "This Is Tokyo" single

Influential German power metal band Helloween will deliver their 17th studio album this summer.
Giants & Monsters is slated for an August 29 release via Reigning Phoenix Music. Today, the band delivered the first single from the album titled “This Is Tokyo.” An official music video for the song, which can be seen here, was directed by AVA Berlin. Vocalist Andi Deris said this about the tune:
“I’ve always wanted to write this song. Japan plays a special role in my life because I had my first big successes there. I wanted to create a tribute to Japan for a while now and finally found the right lyrics. Because ‘Tokyo’ sounds better than ‘Japan,’ the city stands for a whole country that is very important to me.”
