Synthwave producer Grawlix announces two studio albums

Slovakian producer Bohumil Trávniček b.k.a. Grawlix will unveil two studio albums in the near future.

One studio album will be a collaboration with synthwave producer Peter Sedláček b.k.a. Leo Clair, whose last studio album was 2020’s Synthetic Universe. Another album will be a solo effort, which is slated to arrive in summer 2023.

These releases will be the follow-up to Grawlix’s 2019 debut album Session-0b and their 2020 EP Citadel, which are both on Nightcall_sk. Grawlix said this about starting out in music and working with Nightcall_sk:

“When I started, I did not have any ambitions at all. I did the tracks for myself because I enjoyed exploring the possibilities of technique, composition and sound design. At most, I played something for a few friends and I was happy when they liked it.

Then I got among the people from the Nightcall_sk label and everything changed. Suddenly I had a platform focused on the same musical style and the opportunity to play live at any time. That far exceeded my initial ambitions. Currently, my ambition is to release more albums/EPs and move them into something new and more intentional. Discovering techniques, but most of all still having fun."
