Glyphica: Typing Survival hits Steam Early Access in October

Typing will get the survival game treatment next month.

Revealed today, Glyphica: Typing Survival will make its way to Steam Early Access on October 9 for $9.99. This will be the debut game for aliasBlack. An announcement trailer can be seen here.

A synopsis of Glyphica: Typing Survival reads:

Glyphica: Typing Survival is not your ordinary typing test. You start off with one weapon heading into the typing arena, shooting down enemies by using your keyboard. Type out the words above a diverse catalog of foes before they drive straight into you. As you clear wave after menacing wave, a special existential boss fight greets you, and you need to beat it at its own (typing) game.

Your fast fingers are joined by the various loot and pick-ups that enhance your weapons with different boosts and items on the field. Ricocheting bullets, rotating blades, targeted meteors, and more can help you unleash devastation on your wordy foes, provided you have a strategic build on lock.

As you unlock more weapons and clear more Trials, you can unlock Omen Levels that will demand sharp-shooting typing accuracy and quick-witted weapon combo builds. Play again and again to find your reliable faves and last as long as your fingers and concentration can hold out.

Glyphica: Typing Survival can be wishlisted on Steam right now here.
