Fortnite’s Fortnitemares to be featured at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights
Universal's Halloween Horror Nights will bring in frights from one of the most popular video games out there.
Revealed today, Fortnite’s Halloween event Fortnitemares will have a scare zone featured at Universal Orlando Resort And Universal Studios Hollywood. This scare zone will feature the Battle Bus along with familiar and new characters from the Fortnitemares world.
A description of the scare zone reads:
Fortnite is a global ecosystem where players create, compete, and hang out with friends in an always-evolving world. It’s highly-anticipated fall in-game event, Fortnitemares, brings new characters and horror-themed gameplay together every year.
Now, Halloween Horror Nights’ fans will have the chance to “drop in” to the world of Fortnitemares, with an all-new scare zone, featuring ever-evolving and high-stakes environments. Guests will enter Freaky Fields, a Halloween-inspired living battleground overcome with a threatening force. Throughout the scare zone, fans will encounter the Battle Bus along with familiar Fortnitemares characters – plus a few new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights – as they work to escape and claim victory.
The Fortnitemares scare zone will launch on August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood on September 3. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here. Merch based on the Fortnitemares experience is on sale right now at both locations, and it’ll be available online here tomorrow (July 23) at 9 a.m. PST.
