Fortnite to hold "Short Nite" film festival this weekend
Fortnite will dive into the film festival world with Short Nite.
Announced today, Short Nite will feature 12 animated short films for folks to enjoy while in Party Royale. One film announced for this festival is Bench, which is directed by Rich Webber. When discussing Bench’s inclusion in Short Nite, Webber said:
“Seeing Bench’s warm global reception since its debut has been a standout achievement this past year. We’re very excited to share the film inside Fortnite and contribute to the magic of a short film festival in Party Royale.”
Short Nite will take place on February 20 at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST, and it’ll conclude the following day (February 21) at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST. On February 19, a special jumbo popcorn emote will go live.
