Former president Theodore Roosevelt announced for World Championship Boxing Manager 2

World Championship Boxing Manager 2 just added a surprise character to its roster.

Revealed on Tuesday, former president Theodore Roosevelt will be a featured boxer in the game. While this seems like an odd addition, Roosevelt had a deep love for boxing. As a kid, they took up boxing after being bullied. While at Harvard University, Roosevelt competed in a boxing tournament, which landed them as a runner-up. Things took a turn when Roosevelt, who was the governor of New York at the time, was hit so hard during a sparring session that they became blind in their left eye. During their presidency, however, Roosevelt still encouraged people to get into boxing. Roosevelt joins real-life boxers Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Sue “Tiger Lily” Fox in the game.

World Championship Boxing Manager 2 will arrive on January 17 on PC (via Steam). All purchases of World Championship Boxing Manager 2 will come with a free copy of the original World Championship Boxing Manager. The game can be wishlisted on Steam right now. Console ports will be released in the future.
