Far Cry 6 is free to play this weekend
If you’ve wanted to check out Far Cry 6, this is the weekend to do it.
The title is currently free-to-play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, and PC until March 27. The free trial includes the full game and its accompanying DLC. The game is currently on sale through the end of March via various storefronts.
Released back in October, the game follows guerilla fighter Dani Rojas’ mission to take down dictator Antón Castillo. At the 2021 Game Awards, Far Cry 6 was nominated for Best Performance (Giancarlo Esposito as Antón Castillo), Innovation in Accessibility, and Best Action Game. The game is nominated for Outstanding Video Game at the 33rd GLAAD Media Awards, which takes place on April 2 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and May 6 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City. While the Los Angeles ceremony is sold out, there’s still tickets available for the NYC event.
