Iconic MMORPG EVE Online have broken their own Guinness World Records.

During an epic 14-hour battle known as Fury at FWST-8, the Imperium fought against PAPI and destroyed their Keepstar. Announced today, this war broke the world records for largest multiplayer video game PvP battle (8,825 players) and most concurrent participants in a multiplayer video game PvP battle (6,557 participants). EVE Online previously broke these records during 2014’s Bloodbath of B-R5RB and 2018’s Siege of 9-4RP2. Video from the event can be seen below.

When it comes to the massive battle, CCP Games CEO Hilmar V. Pétursson said:
