Epiphone to hold special Pride Month livestream with Gina Chavez, Emily Wolfe, and Jaime Wyatt
With Pride Month winding down, guitar brand Epiphone will bring three of music’s brightest stars together for a celebration.
On Wednesday (June 30), fans will be able to catch folk singer Gina Chavez, pop-rock singer Emily Wolfe and country singer Jaime Wyatt perform a free concert on Eipiphone’s YouTube and Facebook channels starting at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST.
Elizabeth Heidt, Vice President of Cultural Influence, Gibson Brands said this about the livestream:
“We are thrilled to honor and celebrate our artists and their authentic voices every day. Through their activism Jaime, Emily, and Gina are an inspiration to a younger generation, we stand with them and are proud to support the LGBTQIA+ community.”
Wyatt said this about Pride Month:
“Pride month is so special to my heart! Being that I came out in my 30's, I understand how important it is to have more visibility for people in the LGBTQIA community to help others find their identity. I'm grateful to have the support of such a rad company like Gibson, so I'm more visible to other LGBTQIA people. To all those who may be feeling lost or lonely: I have been there, and I love you.”
Wolfe also chimed in:
“Pride month is about how far we've come. Though there is still so much work left to do, let's celebrate every member of the LGBTQ+ community, and our allies, as we work toward normalizing differences in all forms of self-expression.”
Wyatt has been promoting their recent studio album Neon Cross, which was produced by Shooter Jennings. Wolfe recently dropped their new studio album Outlier via Crows Feet Records. Chavez unveiled their first all-Spanish EP titled La Que Manda last year.
