Australian electronic act Empire of the Sun have delivered their new single “Changes” today.
The new single comes with a music video directed by Michael Maxxis, who previously worked with City & Colour, Elle King, and Orville Peck. The mesmerizing visual can be seen below.
Keyboardist Lord Littlemore said this about the song, which is out on digital services right now via Capitol Records:
“Changes represents the shifting sands of time, empires rise and fall but the sun shall shine on. Come once more into the world we’ve created, delve deeper within and be rewarded with its ever-expanding story, each and every one is invited to explore the new era.”
Vocalist Emperor Steele also said:
“Changes was a breakthrough track for us. It felt like the moment of clarity when it became evident we were in the new era, our time of rebirth, the next chapter of Empire.”
Empire of the Sun’s last studio album was 2016’s Two Vines.
