Electro-rock act d3adc0de, which features former members of Solid State Logic and Stellar Revival, have unveiled their debut single “Fight Or Flight.”
The new song comes with a sci-fi music video directed by Mike Lowther (Sevendust, Sleep Machine), which can be seen below. Future music will expand on an ongoing narrative created by the act.
d3adc0de member Steven Morgan said this about the act’s forthcoming plans of blending music with the metaverse:
“d3adc0de is an ambitious project that bend the lines between music, cinema, and performance, and becomes more rewarding for the fans that want to explore and immerse themselves into something alien. We plan to perform in unique venues that simulate and immerse the audience through augmented reality integrated with our concerts. Even now, we have built a Metaverse that allows a user to explore their virtual environment, learn about band members and watch the music video together with other fans.
In a world filled with ephemeral singles that come and go so quickly, our aim is to make music that commands your attention and requires you to engage and dive into it. We hope to create the soundscape in your head that builds worlds in other existences.”
“Fight Or Flight” is available on digital platforms right now.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
