Multi-platinum artist Ed Sheeran will take a break from packing stadiums to performing in front of a small crowd in NYC on Thursday.

Announced today, the artist will have a special show inside Irving Plaza. Fans can submit a ticket request for the event here. The request window will shut down tomorrow (December 7) at 12 p.m. EST. Tickets will be given out to lucky individuals on Wednesday.

Sheeran recently released a Christmas song with Elton John titled “Merry Christmas.” All UK-based proceeds from the song will go towards the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The artist unveiled their fifth studio album = in October. The 14-song album became Sheeran’s fourth number-one album in the United States.
