Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2025 in Los Angeles has been cancelled

This weekend’s Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2025 isn’t happening anymore.

Revealed today, the event has been cancelled due to the ongoing Los Angeles fires. The two-day event was slated to take over the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on Saturday and Sunday, and it was set to feature tournaments for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Masters, and Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World.

An official statement from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. reads:

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the wildfires in Southern California.

As the wildfires continue to present a risk to the Greater Los Angeles Area, and to prioritize the safety of all attendees and everyone involved, we have decided to cancel the ”DRAGON BALL GAMES BATTLE HOUR 2025" event, originally scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, January 18th and Sunday, January 19th, 2025.

We will provide further updates regarding the tournaments for 'DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME MASTERS,' 'DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME FUSION WORLD,' 'DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO,' and 'DRAGON BALL FighterZ,' on each official social media.
