Crunchyroll users on Discord can now show what anime they're watching with Rich Presence
Crunchyroll has made it easier to fans to show off what anime they’re watching on Discord.
Announced today, Discord users can use Rich Prescene by simply linking their Crunchyroll account to their Discord account. As users watch anime on Crunchyroll, it shows what they’re watching on Discord.
Kaliel Roberts, Chief Product Officer, Crunchyroll said this about Rich Prescene:
“Anime is an adventure, and Crunchyroll’s Rich Presence on Discord will allow our fans to take their journey together. The Crunchyroll community loves to share their favorite anime with their friends and now on Discord, fans have another avenue to celebrate their favorite series, discover new shows, and build deeper connections through the content they love.”
Terry Li, Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Crunchyroll also said:
“Not only does our partnership with Discord enrich our fans’ experience with Crunchyroll, but it invites new fans into the world of anime as curious users can see what their friends are streaming in real time.”
Crunchyroll recently launched an official Discord server for anime fans to discuss their favorite shows.
