Crunchyroll announces BLUELOCK soccer tournament in Los Angeles on Saturday
Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll will join forces with soccer culture leader Saturdays Football and the LA Galaxy to celebrate the beloved soccer anime BLUELOCK.
Announced yesterday, a 3 vs 3 tournament will go down at the Galaxy Park complex at the Dignity Health Sports Park campus in Carson, California this Saturday (March 25) starting at 11 a.m. Multiple games will go down during 90 minutes of gameplay. Each game will have King of the Court rules; 10 3v3 games will go down at once with each game having 4-minute intervals with 1-minute breaks on all fields. After 90 minutes, the top four teams will battle each other in the semi-finals before the top two teams go head-to-head in the finals.
The winning team will walk away with a swag bag including an exclusive BLUELOCK x Satrudays Football jersey. All participants will gain a free trial to Crunchyroll. RSVPs to compete in the event can be made here.
