Crunchyroll Anime Awards returning to Japan for 2024 ceremony

Next year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards will return to Japan.

Revealed today, next year’s ceremony will take place at the Hotel Shin Takanawa on March 2 with singer/voice talent Sally Amaki and Japanese presenter Jon Kabira returning as co-hosts.

Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll said this about next year’s ceremony:

“The Anime Awards are the first and only global awards show dedicated to the craft of anime, and we can’t wait to celebrate this year’s series, films, and music chosen by the global fans. It was an easy decision to return and allow global fans to share their love and admiration directly with anime’s creative community. We’re thrilled to spotlight the creators, storytellers and our trusted partners in Japan for all that they do for anime fans.”

Nominees and voting for the 2024 ceremony will open early next year. A list of winners from this year’s ceremony can be found here.
