Croc Legend of the Gobbos hits modern consoles and PC this April
Argonaut Games’ remaster of Croc Legend of the Gobbos will making its way to modern consoles and PC next month.
Revealed today, the remaster will launch on April 2 via PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via GOG). A new release date trailer can be seen here. A new addition for the Croc Legend of the Gobbos remaster is the Crocipedia, which is a digital library filled with various long-lost assets from the game’s history.
Argonaut Games founder Jez San said this about the remaster, which was announced last summer:

The remastered Croc Legend of the Gobbos brings the heartwarming journey of Croc, the humble and courageous little crocodile, equipped with his iconic backpack and wiggly butt back to life with vibrant high-definition graphics, a modern control and camera system, and refined gameplay mechanics. Once again, players will embark on a delightful quest across a series of imaginative worlds by running, jumping, climbing, swimming, and tail spinning to rescue the adorable Gobbos from the nefarious Baron Dante’s grasp. Players will navigate Croc through beautifully recrafted levels brimming with quirky enemies, puzzles, and hidden secrets in order to save Croc’s adoptive family of Gobbos from captivity.
