Cooking/fantasy anime series Delicious in Dungeon has a streaming home.

Announced at Anime Expo over the weekend, the series will make its way to Netflix in 2024. Anime Expo attendees had the chance to catch the world premiere of episode one at the convention. Studio Trigger, who recently worked on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Star Wars: Visions, produced the series based on Ryōko Kui’s manga of the same name. Studio Trigger previously released an animated commercial in celebration of the manga’s eight volume in 2019.

A synopsis for the anime reads:

When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions...and a member!

They're eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they're sure to starve on the way!

But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: "Let's eat the monsters!"

Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons...

none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
