Colossalcon East 2023 expands to a four-day event

After five years as a three-day convention, Colossalcon East will further expand.

Announced yesterday, the anime convention will become a four-day event next year much like its parent convention ColossalCon. Colossalcon East will take place from September 7 through September 10 at the Kalahari Resorts in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania. The 2023 room block will go live starting on December 12th at 11 a.m. EST. More information about the room block will be available soon.

This year’s Colossalcon East featured guests such as rock band Kazha, award-winning chalk artists Chalk Twins, and Peanuts voice talent Melanie Kohn and Patricia Patts.

While they recently wrapped up the inaugural Colossalcon North in Wisconsin, the folks behind Colossalcon are gearing up for the Colossalcon Cruise, which is slated to take place in late February. More information about the event can be found here.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
