Chimaira are coming back to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sophomore studio album The Impossibility of Reason.

Announced today, the alternative metal band will have a two-night celebration inside The Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio. On Friday, May 12, the band will be joined by special guests Integrity and State of Conviction. On Saturday, May 13, Ringworm and Solipsist⁣ will be the opening acts.

Pre-sale tickets will go live here tomorrow (December 14) at 10 a.m. EST with the promo code TIOR20. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (December 16) at 10 a.m. local time.

Released in 2003, the 12-track release includes the fan favorites “Pure Hatred” and “Down Again.” The album sold over 200,000 copies in the United States.

Chimaira originally had plans to reunite in December 2020, but the coronavirus caused them to not go forward with it. After disbanding in 2014, the band reunited in 2017 for a special one-off performance.
