Ceremony announce 2022 fall North American tour with Spy and Gel
Ceremony will embark on their first North American headlining tour in years this fall.
Announced today, the trek will kick off on September 30 at Toronto’s Nineteen Seventy Eight, and it’ll conclude with a stop at Cleveland’s Mahalls on November 12. From September 30 through October 13, Bay Area hardcore punk band Spy will be the opening act while New Jersey hardcore act Gel takes over the opening slot from November 1 through November 12. Other opening acts will be announced closer to the trek.
Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Wednesday (August 10) at 10 a.m. local time.
Earlier this year, Ceremony released their first piece of music in three years with “Vanity Spawned By Fear” b/w “California Poppy.” The band’s last studio album was 2019’s In The Spirit World, which gained a synth-heavy makeover with 2020’s In The Spirit World Now (Synthetic Remixes).
