Boston deathrock band Final Gasp unveil new single "Blood and Sulfur"
Boston deathrock band Final Gasp have delivered another single from their forthcoming debut album Mourning Moon today.
Clocking in under two minutes, the track “Blood and Sulfur” takes inspiration from the short story The Smell Of Sulfur. Vocalist Jake Murphy further explains:
“I found it in a really old book that was printed in the early 40s. It was about the Devil antagonizing a businessman by making everyone else around him successful and offering him his hand to give him the same success. The man ends up taking it, but when he does everyone around him dies and he’s the last one left on Earth, in turn making him the only successful person left.”
Mourning Moon will drop on September 22 via Relapse Records. Pre-orders for the album can be made here.
Final Gasp will have two record release shows in Providence and Boston.
