Denver death metal band Blood Incantation will deliver their fourth studio album this fall.

Revealed today, Absolute Elsewhere will be released on October 4 via Century Media. The two-track release clocks in at 45 minutes, which makes it their longest album to date. The album was recorded last year at Berlin’s Hansa Studios with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Spectral Voice, Kreator). The release features guest appearances from Tangerine Dream’s Thorsten Quaeschning, Hällas’ Nicklas Malmqvist, and Sijjin / Ex Necros Christos’ Malte Gericke. Artist Steve R. Dodd worked on the album’s artwork.

Vocalist Paul Riedl said this about the album:

“‘Absolute Elsewhere’ is our most potent audial extract/musical trip yet; like the soundtrack to a Herzog-style Sci-Fi epic about the history of/battle for human consciousness itself, via a 70s Prog album played by a 90s Death Metal band from the future.”

To celebrate its announcement, Blood Incantation have opened their own Discord server and the Elsewhere Searcher mobile app, which offers discussions about the band. Tour dates in support of the album will be unveiled soon. Pre-orders for the release will go live at a later date.

Absolute Elsewhere tracklisting:

1. The Stargate (20:20)

2. The Message (23:23)
