Black metal/shoegaze band Altars Of The Moon (The Black Dahlia Murder, Uada) announce sophomore album
Black metal/shoegaze band Altars Of The Moon will release their sophomore studio album this November.
Announced today, The Colossus And The Widow will be released on November 17 via Disorder Recordings. The nine-track album was engineered by Nate Verschoor at Hrimhjarta Studio and Jeff Wilson at Disorder Recordings, and it features appearances from Bruce Lamont (Yakuza, saxophone) and Mac Gollehon (Duran Duran, trumpet).
This record also features the addition of The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Alan Cassidy to the band. Aside from Cassidy, the band features guitarist Nathan Verschoor (Uada), bassist Jeff Wilson (Chrome Waves, Deeper Graves, ex-Nachmystium), and vocalist Heath Rave (Lotus Thrones, ex-Wolvhammer). The Colossus And The Widow follows Altars Of The Moon’s 2021 debut album Brahmastra.
