Birdtalker announce new self-titled album, release new single "Old Sob Story"

Nashville indie-folk group Birdtalker have revealed their new self-titled studio album.

Announced today, the 12-track release will arrive on October 8th through AntiFragile Music. The sophomore release is the follow-up to their 2018 debut album One. The new single from the album titled “Old Sob Story” can be heard below. The band said this about the new track:

"'Old Sob Story' is about getting out of the head and into the body and a deeper sense of knowing. It feels like an echo of 'Heavy,' but instead of being sensitive and melodramatic, we're very open-handed and unabashed, almost silly. Lyrically, it's got a 'fuck this I'm tired of myself' vibe; just done with the old and ready for the new."

This fall, Birdtalker will be on the road to promote the new music with support from .Bre Kennedy, Reuben Bidez, and Lonas. Check out their tour dates below.
