Ben Starr to host the 42nd Golden Joystick Awards
The host for next month’s Golden Joystick Awards has been announced.
Today, Ben Starr was revealed as the host for the forthcoming ceremony, which takes place on Thursday, November 21 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Starr is best known for portraying Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, Verso in Expedition 33, and Arthur in Warframe: 1999. Starr won a Golden Joystick Award for Best Lead Performer last year.
Starr said this about hosting the ceremony:
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be your guide to this year’s Golden Joystick Awards. We’ll be celebrating the greatest games of the past 12 months — but more importantly, the talented teams of people who made them possible. Tune in for an evening of fashionable festivities, where you can expect special guests, showmanship and plenty of silly jokes. See you soon, and if you haven’t already, get your votes in now!”
Gamers can vote for their favorite games right now here; fan voting will conclude on Friday, November 1 at 4pm PST / 7pm EST. Gamers will be able to vote for the Ultimate Game of the Year award, which unveils its nominees on Monday, November 4. Voting in that category will go live that same day.
