Beloved manga series Fist of the North Star is getting a fitness game

Fist of the North Star will be transformed into a fitness game next year.
Announced today, Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star will arrive on the Nintendo Switch in 2023, which will also be the 40th anniversary of Fist of the North Star. The game is part of the popular Fitness Boxing series on the console. An announcement trailer can be seen below.
The last Fist of the North Star console game was 2018’s Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, which is on the PlayStation 4. Over the years, Fist of the North Star has earned a boxing game (2000’s Fighting Mania: Fist of the North Star, an MMORPG (2008’s Hokuto no Ken Online), and a typing game (1999’s Typing Ōgi: Hokuto no Ken Gekiuchi).
With over 100 million copies sold, Fist of the North Star is one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The franchise is also a major influence in the concept of fatalities in the Mortal Kombat franchise.
